Goal Magic

Sep 11, 2018

We are happy to share the first half of this two-part interview with digital marketer and entrepreneur Sarah DeGeorge. Sarah talks about the unusual path she took after college and why she continues to have resolve in taking that path. We were blown away at what happened that caused Sarah to have to re-evaluate what mattered to her in life and find her way back to balance.

Cynthia's favorite takeaways from the interview were:

  • Your body will tell you to slow down when it needs to, and everyone needs to heed that warning when it happens. Sarah’s bout with shingles enables her to enter a new phase of her entrepreneurship as a result of her illness

  • Doing what you’re good at doesn’t always mean you should make money from it. Sometimes, doing what feels good/right for YOU is the best path forward

  • Sometimes, refining the scope of your skills and really honing in on something that you’re not only good at but that you enjoy is a means to driving more business. Although it may not feel that way because you are paring down what you focus on, the riches are often in very specified yet desirable areas of expertise
